We can't give a firm price over the phone for anything that depends on what's behind the drywall or under the door - a bent track that's twisted the frame, a header that's rotted from years of moisture, or hardware that's been modified by a previous repair. Those need eyes on the job before a number means anything.
We also won't quote a repair sight unseen if the door is old enough that parts are discontinued; on some of the original doors from houses built in the 1938-1980 window, finding a matching panel or spring size isn't always possible, and the honest answer is sometimes replacement instead of repair. We'd rather tell you that up front than sell a patch that won't hold through a Council Bluffs winter.
We don't do general construction - framing a new opening, pouring a new slab, or structural work tied to the garage itself. If your project is bigger than the door and its hardware, that's outside what we quote.
